Skill, Endurance, and Laughter — Individual Preliminaries
The event kicked off on the afternoon of May 6 with individual competition preliminaries.
At the beanbag toss, participants locked eyes on their targets, gracefully launching beanbags that landed precisely in scoring zones.
On the plank hold field, contestants gritted their teeth, sweat-soaked shirts clinging to their backs as they pushed the limits of endurance.
Over at jump rope, agile competitors moved like swallows in flight, ropes spinning with dazzling speed.
The motion-sensing watermelon slicing game brought the energy to a new high—contestants matched arm movements to music, slicing virtual “watermelons” with precision, triggering bursts of laughter and cheers from the crowd.
Energizing the Spirit — Opening Ceremony & Team Competitions
On the morning of May 7, the event reached its climax with a rousing opening ceremony.
President Xu Feng of Gellec attended in person and delivered an inspiring speech. He encouraged employees to give their all on the field, sweat with pride, and showcase their true selves.

In the 4×100 relay, runners shot forward like arrows, and every baton handoff held the crowd’s breath.
During the tug of war, team members gripped the rope with all their strength, leaning back with determination written across every face.
The group jump rope test demanded rhythm and teamwork, with ropes flipping in sync and teammates leaping in harmony.
In the eight-legged race, eight team members had their legs bound together, chanting in unison and stepping forward as one—showcasing flawless team coordination.

That afternoon, the finals of the individual competitions were held.

In the plank hold final, an EHS Department contestant stunned the crowd with an incredible 17 minutes and 14.5 seconds, clinching first place. Their perseverance and grit won thunderous applause and admiration from all.
